The aim of the project is to get a good picture of competence development methods, where we stand today and what we can expect in the next five years. The method for this project will be benchmarking with other large companies and training providers as well as internal mapping.

Main issues:
- What kind of training methods are most common within Atlas Copco Nordic region and other large companies today?
- What training methods will grow over the next five years?
- To what extent are e-learning used within Atlas Copco Nordic region and other large companies? What are the advantages and possible risks using e-learning?
- What alternative training methods can be used on the courses available in the Atlas Copco Nordic Academy’s existing course catalog? What are the advantages and possible risks the methods?

Throughout the work, we would like that the following areas are kept in mind:
How training should be organized and implemented to contribute to the business, strengthening the companys brand, fill competence gaps and contribute to a lasting behavior change.
